The 2 of us stayed @ TEMP8 for 10 days in October 2011 and were very happy there. I agree with other comments that the apt photographs are accurate, but they can't convey the wonderful feeling of fresh air & light when the french door/windows are open.
I particularly liked the bathroom with its ample counter space and huge soaking tub, with room for candles and glasses of champagne.
Also agree with others that the place is well situated. 5+ min walk from the heart of the Marais, a metro stop
across the street and a transfer station metro @ Republique, 5-10 min to the right & up the blvd. The Bastille area and the Canal St.Martin neighborhood are
also very walkable.
The famous Marche des Enfants Rouges is a fun market area -- walk southwest to Rue de Bretagne & turn right. It's a few blocks up on the left, with cheese shops, wine store and other shops on the way. And there's an
organic market on Blvd Voltaire -- take the side street Rue de Crussol.
The staff @ ParisAddress is excellent and the internet process in the planning stages was user friendly and secure.

We recently (June 2011) stayed at Temp8 and loved it. First, the communication with Paris Address was FLAWLESS. Traveling from the US, it was very important for us to have a smooth communication with the company. The payment was easily made with CC through their website. The photos of the apt. are very accurate (goo job guys, I am a pro photographer). The location is great!
We are a couple with 2 children and we felt comfortable with the size of the apt.
During these moments of writing this feedback, my brother in law and his family are staying at another apt. with Paris Address. Highly recommended!

My family of 4 stayed at Temp 8 from 2011 May 30 to Jun 9.
The apartment was exactly the same as was featured in the website! The paintings, colour, tables etc.! So I'm real happy on that account.
The taxi driver from Paris address picked us up from the airport and also sent us to the airport, very promptly and helpful and he was so chatty and fluent in English (sorry, forgot his name). My kids had so much fun listening to him from the back seat (although they were shy to say anything). They said "he can really talk, non-stop from the airport to our apartment!"
Here's what my personal comments on the apartment and its surroundings:
Apartment:
1) Kitchen
- it was small and cozy and very well equipped with forks, spoons, pots, pans, oil, pasta, chocolate powder etc!! (maybe from the last tenant) I can't help but decided to cook some pasta for my family when we went to Renoire Market on Sunday to grab some lovely chickens and fresh vegetables. There are so many lovely wine glasses in the cupboard so we had to buy a bottle of French wine! The wine opener is available in the kitchen.
- we used the washing machine almost everyday (don't like dirty clothes) but note that there is a "trick" to the washing machine. You need to "knock it" abit after you close the door and it will start.
2) Bedroom
- The bed was really soft, my bed at home was not that soft so it took me two days to get used to it, you "sink" into the bed literally.
- I read in earlier posts about the creaky floor and yes it was absolutely true! If your family walks like "elephants" it can get really loud. My kids sleep like pigs so it doesn't affect them and I'm not that sensitive to noise, If you are, it may trouble you if your room mates walk around alot in the middle of the night. But the apartment itself is quiet and nice.
3) Living room
- Minimal English TV stations but who cares, we don't spend time hanging in the room as we're on holiday! But I was there during the French Open so I stayed in to catch it live on TV over nice French pastries so that was sufficient. There's a music channel with both French and English MTVs so that's our music source. Also one English news channel where we heard about the E-Coli thing.
- Lots of French books (pity we don't understand)
- Internet connection was great, sometimes it gets disconnected but short and infrequent.
- The sofa bed was only sufficient for one child (as my younger son 7 rolls over the place when he sleeps) but the other longish sofa seat next to it can sleep another child (if the child can sleep still like my daughter who is 10, again she is tiny, we're Asians). Can sleep one adult one the sofa bed if you ask me.
4) Toilet
- Based on our experience, I think the water heater can only lasts up to 3 persons at any one time. So by the time the forth person starts showering, the water is no longer warm and very cold! So we worked that out and the forth person would shower much later, say 1/2 hr later.
5) Surroundings
- There are a few places to get your groceries. When you come out of your apartment, turn right and you'll see a small lane, turn right and walk down and you'll see a small "mom-and-pop" store, you can get shampoo, drinks etc. This shop is much cheaper than the other one (I'll mention later). Around this lane, you'll also see a small cozy pastry shop (the lady can't speak English though). If you walk down much further and you come to a main street, you'll see a much bigger pastry shop across the road. This place has lots of yummy pastries, breads and cakes! This place was my breakfast supplier, yum yum!
Another alternative, if you come out from your apartment, turn left and the next lane, turn left and walk down, you'll see another "mom and pop" store, bigger that the first one I mentioned, more stuff but more expensive. Third alternative, turn left when you come out from your apartment, walk straight around 5-8 mins, turn left into a small lane (sorry can't remember the road names), there is a Carrefour supermarket.
6) Train station
Th nearest train station is on the left of the apartment, 5 mins but it is not on the main line, you need to walk to Republique station which connects to more lines, about 10mins walk. Direction wise - Turn right from the apartment.
Hope the above is useful for future holiday makers. But be very very careful with pick pockets!! They can be children, women, men etc. We had the unfortunate incident of meeting one after being picked on twice"unsuccessfully", third time we were unlucky!
Oh yes, do book your Eiffel Tower tickets beforehand, don't waste time queuing. You can book online, and send it to your smart phone (if you have one or print it) and you save hours of waiting in lines.
Cheers

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Temp 8.After more than 3 weeks we felt right at home. The confirmed taxi never showed up at CDG airport, but a regular taxi got us to Temp 8 at much less cost than the no-show. Joel greeted us on arrival and was very helpful in getting us settled in. All in all we were very pleased-except for the taxi no-show
The area is well serviced by Metro and bus. A supermarket is a five minute walk, and is excellent.
We would certainly return.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Paris, service was as promised - easy check-in and right on time.
Great location, steps away from the Metro station and close bustling part of le' Marais, grocery store and everything you need within a close walking distance.
The apartment is very roomy, well equipped, comfortable and quite. Yet, could be cleaner and the bed mattress definitely needs changing.
All and all, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and would favorably consider coming again if minor improvements are applied.

My friend and I stayed in this apartment and could not have asked for a more enjoyable time.
The apartment is a few steps away from the metro, grocery store, and local eateries.
We were apart enough from all the tourist action to feel like a local, but only a hop, skip and jump away when we wanted bustling immersion.
Everything is as described and depicted, except for the TV, which is now much bigger--much to my friend's liking.
The building is quiet, safe and the residents friendly.
I loved my stay at Temp8 and would go back in a heartbeat.
