BEAUMARCH Apartment
Two of us stayed at this apartment for nearly two weeks in March 2015. Our 22 year-old niece joined us for part of the stay and slept on the pull out sofa in living room. (She said the bed was comfortable). The apartment is wonderfully located on the edge of both the Marais and the Bastille. The Bastille metro station is a five minute walk and offers connections to many lines. There is also a metro stop (Chemin Vert) just outside the apartment building’s main door. The apartment itself is a mixed bag. The bedroom is lovely, spacious and bright and offers commodious closets. But the living room and kitchen were gloomy and not well appointed. When we arrived there was, for example, no salad bowl or a large pot. We did contact ParisAddress and in two days had those items for the kitchen. We never complained about having only three wine glasses or the dearth of coffee cups but probably should have. We felt the absence of an arm chair for sitting and reading (especially when the sofa was in use as a bed.) At night the apartment became very bright because just outside, across the street, was a heavy-duty industrial strength security light. The old fashioned shutters could not block that light. Just below on Rue Amelot was a corner bar called “Bloody Mary.” Noise from the bar-goers was noteworthy; most nights it went into the wee hours and we had to keep the windows shut even though we wanted fresh air. The bathroom was perfectly fine and there was also a large closet in the hallway for coats and other storage. The WC also accessed in the front hall, across from the shower/sink room was the smallest we have ever experienced. If you are 5’3” or less you will be able to shut the door when using but otherwise the door must stay open. If privacy is desired, forget it. We will look for a different apartment for out next visit even though we love this neighborhood.

Lovely and comfortable apartment. All applicances are working fine. The location is perfect as there are good restaurants and shops nearby. Bus stops and metro station (Chemin Vert) are literally right outside the apartment door. It is only 10 mintues walk from Bastille which offers more transportation options. Our only complaints are the squeaky flooring at certain spots and the neighbourhood can be a bit noisy from traffic and nearby restaurants. Not too bad if you have the windows totally shut though.
The transaction with ParisAddress went very smoothly. The agent was already waiting for us when we arrived in taxi that we booked through ParisAddress. The baby cot that we requested was missing but they delivered it right away within an hour. All in all a very pleasant experience.

I have rented the apartment on boulevard Beaumarchais twice before and plan on renting it again. The apartment is cozy, comfortable and cheery and ideally located. Just one suggestion, more lamps in the living room.

It was nice to have Carlos waiting promptly for us when we arrived in Paris. It was a nice apartment except the faucet was loose at the kitchen sink and needed to be repaired. Also, the bathroom sink was quite plugged. We did enjoy being so central to everything and the little grocer across the street came in very handy. We loved St. Gilles street nearby, lots of nice cafes and shops! Hope that the kitchen sink has been fixed for the next people. It was wonderful to be in Paris. Thank you!

The location of this apartment was great. It was quiet when the windows were closed at night. The kitchen facilities were great and the local markets were wonderful. Whilst the Metro was at the front door I walked all over Paris and didn't use the metro at all. The bus stop is also at the door, and you can catch the open air hop on and off tour bus at a stop within easy walking distance.
The location is serviced by some great bakeries, bottle shops and markets.
My only negative experience was that I was not shown the bin and recycling area and not told that the door needs to be kept open! This was not explained to me and I was locked in the bin and courtyard area very early the morning I was leaving, it was only that I persisted in yelling for help that I didn't miss my shuttle to the airport.
Apart from that experience as a single female traveller, it was great and highly recommended.

Its location is great as to lots of bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby and a metro in front of the building. Even an open market on Thur and Sunday just walking distance. The kitchen is very functional with big sized fridge, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. They even supplied washing tablets and other kitchen condiments. They replaced the faulty kettle straight away. The bed is comfy and lots of storage areas. Quiet when the windows are shut as the resto at the corner can get very loud at night. Overall, we were comfortable staying in this flat and the agents were very responsive. Thanks a lot ParisAddress.

This apartment is lovely and set back from the street so there are no concerns about noise. I appreciated the flexibilty afforded to me when I needed to change arrival time at short notice. And as others have said the proximity to two Metro stations was great (Chemin Vert is out the front of the building and Bastille a short walk away)

This is my second time renting from Paris Address and I've found the staff to be responsive and very helpful.
This apartment is great for two people- the apartment has everything you need, and the location is amazing: (1)bakery and grocery within a one minute walk, (2) metro right outside your door, Bastille stop a five minute walk, (3) the Richard Lenoir open market on Thursdays and Sundays is right around the corner.
