BEAUMARCH Apartment
1. We had a wonderful week at the Ile St Louis, with our children and gran doughter.
2. The apartment was very well presented and fitted with everything was need for the holiday. Lots of light in all rooms, with magnificent views of Pont Marie and the river Seine, very quiet.
3. The lady from Paris Adress was very helpful. Easy to contact over the phone, and on time for the check-in. She gave us very useful advice on the place and the electrical equipment.
4. Room for improvement? Yes but minor things like:
- Additional pillows.( we did not find any)
- The armchairs were not confortable.
- The Wi-Fi connection was slow.
Thanks to everybody in Paris Adress!!!!

What a trip! We had the wonderful opportunity to have and adventure and stay in Paris at the beautiful Pont 18 apartment for 4 weeks in September 2014. It was my husband and I along with our 3 children (aged 8, 6 and 5) and a visiting uncle for 1 week all trekking from Australia.
The apartment has been set up with everything you need including in the kitchen- down to the shopping trolley and an umbrella. It is light and bright, you can open the windows and Paris just jumps into the apartment from Pont Marie. Everything was as presented on the website and we found it clean and well maintained. It was surprisingly quiet at night given how central it is.
The Paris Apartment staff were great - they helped arrange transfers, met us on time and provided useful information. There was a problem on a weekend with the front door of the whole apartment block and they assisted in arranging it to be fixed.
But most of all what a location!! So central to everything. We fell in love with Ile St Louis with it's quirky little streets and lovely local shops - especially the boulangerie opposite and the Delis all nearby. WOnderful boutique wine stores and specialist cheese shops are within 2-10 minute meander.
I was often exploring in the mornings on my own with the 3 kids when my husband worked and it was so easy to walk everywhere or quickly jump on 1 of a dozen different bus or metro lines within a 5 minute walk. There are many amazing parks and playgrounds within 10 minutes travel as well as plenty of family friendly cafes and several well stocked supermarkets on Rue de Rivoli or nearby. Again it was a surprise how wonderful Paris was to explore with young children - although acknowledging we had perfect weather the whole time so could be outdoors a lot including to far flung but very cool playgrounds and parks in the outer suburbs. The park 50 m away over Pont Marie has 2 outdoor table tennis tables so we bought bats and balls, as well as a soccer ball and basketball day 3 at the sports store near place de Republique which stood us in good stead. Shooting hoops under the Eiffel Tower at the Champs de Mars was a highlight for the kids along with many great memories of meals, parks, galleries and drawing (with our 'arting' kit lugged with us) at many iconic sites about the city.
However whatever the day's adventures we had Pont 18 as our little Parisian haven to return to each afternoon. Thanks to the owners and Paris Address for providing such a wonderful apartment and service.

Thank you all very much for your positive comments and suggestions.
We have organised a general "spruce up" of the apartment in the coming weeks to keep it fresh and inviting. This will include repainting as we well as the replacement of some furniture and fittings.
We hope you all continue to enjoy staying in the apartment as much as we do.

We had the most wonderful two weeks in this beautiful appartment, and enjoyed all those things others have mentioned - the central location, the boulangerie, the view which kept us endllessly entertained - and would like to add the delightful cafes and restaurants nearby, the cheese shops, the little grocery shops, even the touristy shops were a delight. And then there was the access to the river and the batobus which gave us easy access to most of the tourist sites. Not to mention the cheery little beggar lady opposite and the garbage collectors who blew kisses to me in the early mornings.
Parisaddress was incredibly helpful from the first booking atage onward, so that we felt confident about our adventure.
The only tiny criticism was the couches in the lounge, which were amazingly uncomfortable. But the kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom well set up. The heaters worked most efficiently. I was really sad to leave.

Our family of five stayed here in February and found the apartment absolutely perfect. The location is to die for, within walking (and what walks!) of so many sights and wonderful "quartiers".
The views are fascinating particularly at night, and bearing in mind just how central the apartment is, it was pretty quiet.
There´s also a neighbour called Modigliani, which just made it so perfectly Parisian!

We had the best Christmas ever in your wonderful apartment. It was far more spacious and pleasant than the photos showed. The added touch of a Christmas tree and decorations was very thoughtful. While it was central to everything, it was also easy to while away the hours looking at the Seine flow by from the lounge room windows. We enjoyed walking and using the bateau bus but it was also a pleasure to pick up supplies at the delightful little shops on the island before returning home to the comforts of the apartment each evening. Thank you so much for all your assistance. We will certainly do business with you again. Debbie, David and family.

Great apartment. We loved it. Everything was as stated, and more. The view from the living room was priceless. Only downside was the bakery across the road - we put on a lot of weight! But looking forward to coming back again soon....

This apartment was a perfect home base for all 8 of us in Paris. We traveled with four adults and four children, and this location placed us near many restaurants, main attractions, a grocery story, a small bakery across the street, the metro and many adorable shops. My parents are already planning to go back and stay in this same apartment. We were very comfortable, had plenty of room, and felt very safe. The view from the window of the Seine river, along with the breeze was priceless.

Fabulous stay in beautiful Paris at this great apartment in early January 2011. Our family of 8 were very comfortable in this roomy apartment and found it very clean & well stocked. Superb location (bakery across the road is amazing). We already look forward to returning & highly recommend. Paris Address provide an excellent service.

Fantastic apartment! Great location and views, bakery across the street is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights in late Aug/early September and loved it. Would definitely return. Only (small) complaint is that it's a tad noisy with windows open, but that's city living for you.
Parisaddress staff who met us was great. Easy to reach and responsive prior to arrival, ready and waiting when we arrived at the apartment. Highly recommend.

My family stayed 'On the island' as we referred to Pont 18. The apartment was fabulous. We arrived on the day that the snow storms had created havoc with the airports but Jules patiently waited for us even though we were 5 hours late. We found all the information left on the desk and the cupboard re where things were. We used the Metro constantly and safely from the Pont Marie and Citie. A seperate WC in addition to the modern bathroom and hand basin in the master bedroom worked well. The bakery across from the apartment is to die for as is the Creamerie turning left at Rue Ile Saint Louis. We will be back definitely.

We stayed in the apartment in late October. The location was wonderful and easy walking distance to so much to see in Paris. Convenient to metro as well. I would like to see heavy curtains on second bedroom as the street light is directly outside. In addition, the early morning rubbish collections several days per week woke us up.
The apartment is great for a group of people sharing. I would have liked to see instructions to local supermarket etc so that when one arrives one can go and get supplies quickly and easily. We found them eventually but not before paying many euros to some of the more local shopkeepers. Great place to stay and I would definitely return.

6 of us had a great stay in the apartment for 4 nights. The location was very central, with everyhting at your doorstep. Highly recommended

Our company had 6 people stay at this apartment in August. The location was fantastic and the views of the Seine were spectacular. We would definitely have folks stay here again.

The apartment was marvellous and had everything for the 6 of us. The location and the view from the window were great. I would come back again and although it was quite expensive it was worth it.
Improvements would be some local info available in the flat.
Instructions on where to get the NEspresso pods or even better a supply left for the occupier (it was our only hassle over the weekend trying to get a supply of coffee pods). Hopefully we will be back again to visit this glorious apartment. I attach a short video of the apartment.
