BEAUMARCH Apartment
Our week's stay at FRSA5 was as wonderful as our last one six years ago. The apartment has everything one needs and the area has all the necessary shops needed for groceries within a few blocks. The Metro and Batobus are easily accessible and many museums/galleries are within walking distance - the Seine and Notre Dame are at the end of the street. Who could ask for more?!
Once again, thanks to Parisaddress!

Merci.

Our stay (couple and 6 year old) at 5 Frederic Sauton over the new year was perfect. The flat is clen and spacious, the suburb fantastic. Communications with Parisaddress was perfect and the whole process from booking to leaving went well. We will definitely use Paris address again. mark, Virginia and Albi

My husband and I stayed in FRSA5 apartment and had a wonderful time. The location is excellent and the apartment is very clean, open concept with opportunity to open the windows for a cross breeze. We loved having both options of seeing the courtyard as well as the street. Located 1/2 a block from Notra Dame, we really walked everywhere from here. Bordering the Latin Quarter and St. Germain, this is a central area with amazing markets and restaurants near by. We loved being able to wash our clothes and also loved all of the maps and informaiton that have been provided by others who have stayed in the apartment. Booking the apartment was very easy and user friendly. We were welcomed at the apartment and provided some useful info for our travels. Awesome stay - would highly recommend this place.

Our stay at 5 Frederic Sauton at the beginning of Jan was very pleasant. The studio was clean, quiet, well-located and well-equipped. We liked the markets and the Eric Kayser bakery on rue Monge. Staff from Paris Address responded promptly, met us when we arrived and responded accurately to a question about internet access. We'd be delighted to return!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 and half weeks. Position is perfect, close to ALL things, shops, monuments and the Metro. Room was small but enough for 2 adults. There is no electric dryer but a clothes airer. Towel warmer was more than enough to warm the studio, but there were two other heaters when needed. We had a problem with no hot water after a few days but this was fixed VERY quickly. All contact and arrangements made with Parisaddress was very smooth and professional and I have no hesitation recommending PA. In Australia we are used to no hidden $, the price given is the $ you pay. Not so in other countries, but with Parisaddress there are not hidden charges, the price is what you pay, makes overseas travel easy to budget for. I researched for 2 years while planning our trip, do your self a favour don't go past this company, save your self from unexpected charges, their prices are also the best I could find. Will we use them again! YES.

Please note: outside noise. This was tolerable if one shut the window to the outside street and opened the windows to the courtyard, but this allowed mosquitoes to enter. Dryer was a rack. Excellent location. Clean, adequately supplied apartment, although it needs a can opener. Attentive service, if surly, from Paris Address. The driver who arrived to pick us up at the airport was late, but traffic to the airport was a parking lot that day. Excellent and prompt return service to the airport when we left. All in all, we liked the apartment and felt that we were treated fairly, and would return with a can of bug spray. Yes, Paris Address takes the credit card number but keeps it secure and operates with integrity.

Although I've been to Paris many times, my stay at the apartment on rue Frédéric Sauton was my first experience with ParisAddress, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. From the reservation process to check-out, everything was handled with professionalism and efficiency.
The apartment itself was very nice as well. The phone didn't work when I arrived, but ParisAddress sent a repair person very promptly. Everything else worked perfectly throughout my three-week stay.
As others have commented, the location is great. Being so close to the Latin Quarter does mean that there's a bit of street noise, particularly on weekends. But the great location more than compensates for any transitory inconvenience.
I'll definitely be staying with ParisAddress again. Merci mille fois, Fabien!

Recomendo.

My husband and I stayed at the FRSA 5 last October. This apartment is perfect in every aspect. Perfect location, well equiped and designed. We had all we needed to feel at home. We felt like living in Paris and we promised ourselves to go back to this apt. every time we visit.
The agency is also excellent. From the very begining it was a pleasure to deal with them. The staff was extremly nice and helpfull; not to mention that the apt. was exactly what they showed and promised.
All together it was an excellent experience, and for sure we will be back.

Delicioso apartamente y maravillosamente situado.

We loved this apartment and felt as if we were truly living in Paris. We stayed there for 10 days in early May and reveled in its ideal location, so close to wonderful food shops (for morning croissants and brioche) and a farmer's market, various Metro stops, and a quick walk over to Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cite AND just one block away from Notre Dame. What a joy to walk out our door every morning and see this magnificent masterpiece, and to open our windows and hear its bells tolling. Like a beautiful dream. The apartment was a perfect size and nicely laid out and decorated, with great natural light and a clean contemporary feel. We had not been to Paris for 25 years, and staying here was a perfect re-introduction. We are already planning our next trip.

Myself and two others stayed at 5 rue Frederic Sautan in the Latin quarter from August 12 to the 17, 2009. The apartment was very well located and within a few blocks walking distance to the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the main restaurant and pedestrian area of the Latin Quarter. We were also close to St. Germain where there was alternate shopping. We were close to the metro and the ability to be mobile. The apartment was cute and very convenient, and we felt immersed in the culture of Paris while still being close to night life and shops and cafes. The Seine is only a block away, and I really liked staying there. If I were going to Paris again, I would stay there again without question. I have stayed in Paris in other areas previously and felt so distanced from everything. So this apartment was great and we enjoyed our stay in Paris. Marsha from California

5 rue Frederic Sauton, in which I just spent 10 days, is a delightful location in Quartier Latin.
I came to Paris alone to write and found #5 to be an ideal location for writing, shopping for vegetables, having espresso, and central for exploring Montparnasse, Montmarte, Champ de Mars, Etoile, & Bastille areas, as well as closer neighborhoods.
The double bed is firm, fine for 2 people, lighting is good, washer works well. The TV was not working, but I didn't need it.
One suggestion to Paris Address would be to
have an extra key in the neighborhood, perhaps
with a local merchant. I locked myself out one
evening, after the ParisAddress office had
closed, and had to get a hotel for the night.
Avoid the Musee Picasso: Tacky boutique with
little art.

I loved this appartment, am very keen to return to it and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. It was beautifully clean, had everything I needed for a weeks stay and had good water pressure for the shower. It is a wonderfully central location, and in fact, I have not a single negative comment!

Many thanks Paris Address for a most enjoyable two-week stay at 5 rue Frederic Sauton! Gabriel met us at the apartment & explained the workings of the washer/internet & TV remotes - all of which we made good use of. The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures on line (which I have not found to be the case with other lodging sites). The location is perfect - Franprix just around the corner, Place Maubert market open three days per week and an Eric Kayser boulangerie nearby on rue Monge. We managed the Metro easily and also enjoyed the Batobus. As to the stonemasons' work in the stairwell - all buildings need repair from time to time and one must expect this - they were our "second" wake-up call - our "first" being the garbage pick-up! Who wants to sleep past 8 am when you have Paris at your doorstep? Although I chose this apartment when it showed a dryer was available, it was not difficult using the clothes rack provided and if you needed something more quickly you need only use the heated towel rails for a half-hour or so. My husband & I had an excellent stay & would love to return - Paris Address looked after us very well from the easy booking process through to our departure.

I have just returned from what could have been a most enjoyable break in
Paris at the above property. The apartment we liked very much and are
discussing returning.
Regrettably, we were disappointed about the noise from the renovations to
the entrance and stairs during our stay. From 8am. work commenced with
chiselling the stonework, loud talking just outside our flat and to make
matters worse placed their radio so that we could get no peace.
I feel that some form of compensation should be allowed for this inconvience
and look forward to your comments.

We stayed at this apartment the week of Nov. 22. It's a wonderful apartment, exactly as the pictures showed and actually a little bigger than I expected. It's recently renovated and very clean. The bathroom is all tile and very spacious. The shower has one of those crazy half doors, which I just can't figure out. How do you keep the water IN the shower? But a very nice shower none the less.
The location is amazing. When you walk out the door and look to the right Notre Dame is directly facing you. You really couldn't ask for a better location. Though technically in the Latin Quarter, it's not in the tourist-trap area you might associate with the Latin Quarter. The street was very quiet with only a couple restaurants and small businesses. There's lots of little shops (bakery, wine, cheese) right at the end of the street and an open market a couple days a week.
It's difficult to think of anything bad to say. The only thing we were disappointed by is that there's no longer a dryer in the apartment. There's still a washer, but without a dryer it doesn't make laundry very practical (took a day for our clothes to dry).
The Paris Address staff was wonderful to work with and always very responsive to any emails I sent.
We loved the apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for a week in late October. We would echo in every way the excellent comments posted by Gloria earlier this month. Due to the absence of a dryer, we requested a folding drying rack which was promptly provided. We met a couple of the other building occupants, who were uniformly courteous and friendly, as was the young man who came to clean the apartment as we were leaving--and graciously declined a tip after carrying our 2 suitcases down those infamous spiral stairs.
This apartment is very popular, judging by the comments from other renters, so we would urge you to add another apartment to your list of available rentals in this immediate neighborhood!
Regarding suggested "fixes," we offer these:
--one-page instructions on how to use the washing machine. Vesla gave us a complete oral rundown of the appliances when we arrived, but those for the washing machine were too elaborate to retain in their entirety.
--written instructions on how to access phone messages on the apartment phone. I finally deciphered enough of the rapid, oral instructions to get by but that process was very frustrating.
--repair the pre-existing damage to the walls in the kitchen and bath, for the sake of appearances.
--hang a small mirror over the dresser and a piece of framed artwork over the bed, to further brighten up the walls.

We stayed 12 days at this wonderful apartment and would love to do it again every year. It was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable for the two of us. We were met by one of the staff who helped us carry the bags up the several flights of winding stairs. The location was excellent as the Metro was on one end of the block and Notre Dame on the other. We loved being able to pick up prepared food at the local shops and eat at 'home' some nights, as well as make coffee in the morning and not have to go out right away. The bed was very comfortable and we didn't notice any noise from the street, until about 4am when the trash trucks went down the street. The apartment had been listed as having a washer and a dryer, but there was only a washer, and what with us already having been on the road for 2 weeks, we were sorely in need of laundry services. Also the washer needs some better instructions as it ran for about 7 hours the first time. We rigged a clothesline from the window to the hatrack and dried socks on the towel warmer in the bathroom. Wouldn't life be boring if everything was perfect? Definitely loved the place and have recommended it to several friends already.

My husband and I stayed for 1 week at 5 rue Frederic Sauton
from 5 May - 12 May 2008. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall. The staff were friendly, greeted us kindly upon arrival, and our taxi driver Jean Paul was perfect. He was insistent on
carrying our luggages up the steep flight of stairs (3 to be
exact) himself. We felt so bad for him. The location was
ideal, centrally located. Everything we needed were within
walking distance or via metro nearby. The flat itself was
charming, ample space for 2, with a clean bathroom, and the
kitchen served us well. The exterior was rustic and cozy,
definitely had an old-world ambiance.
One factor which resulted in a significant inconvenience during our stay was the lack of a washer. We chose this flat
specifically for the washer as we always pack enough clothes
for just 3 days regardless of our destination and the number
of days we're staying. Upon arrival, Philippe informed us
the washer in the flat was broken. However, he did
came through for the most part on this matter and offered to
have our laundry picked up by the staff, washed, and returned to the flat on the same day. This was done twice. Please convey our appreciation to Philippe.
On our last day (Sunday), we were unable to reach the staff at the office, and walked our laundry to the laundry service ourself. That was a bit of an inconvenience since we spent an hour in the laundry place rather than enjoying our last hours in Paris. However, as a result, we met some incredibly nice locals while doing laundry.
Another issue for us which may or may not affect future tenants was the noise from down below. Since the flat was facing the street, exterior noise from cars and customers from restaurants/shops were inevitable. This was not an issue during the day. Yet, it was came nightfall around 12 am - 2 am. Some nights the folks from the street level were so loud, sleep was difficult to come by.
One suggestion is to clearly indicate there's no lift in the building and specify the number of stair levels to reach the flat. This may impact folks with any back or leg problems. We were frequently in/out of the flat so climbing up/down 3 flights of steep stairs after touring Paris daily proved incredibly challenging and somewhat of a torture on our feet.
In summary, despite the referenced issues, we would still recommend this flat to others. The warm hospitality of the parisaddress.com staff were in deed highly noted and much appreciated. We will definitely use your services again in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 5 rue Frederic Sauton and would have no hesitation in recomending it and parisaddress to our friends. The apartment was very french and cosy for a couple.
Located in the heart of Paris and very convenient to all the places we wanted to see.
Notre Dame is 3 minutes walk away and just across the Seine from the end of the street. The metro was nearby as were other facilities, supermarkets, banks, patissaries and the quaint Place Maubert street market.
Communication from parisaddress and Fabian was always prompt and helpful and the use of the apartments facilities were carefully explained.
All in all we had a relaxed 9 days living like a Parisian
