BEAUMARCH Apartment
We stayed in PEPO2 17-26 Jan this year. Everything was great, from the meet and greeter, Eric to the person who departed us, Arnaud. Responses when booking were professional, friendly and helpful. The view is real, and when covered in snow as it was for us, magic. The location was so close to everything we walked almost everywhere. The restaurant suggestions and guidebook assembled by the owners was very helpful. Try out Le Brasserie Balzar, best to book though. On the last day the lift stopped working. Never mind, we climbed!! One thing that might be a safety issue: On our last day the lights in the stairwell also stopped working on 1, 2 and 4th floor. It was an adventure for us, but maybe not for some. Either way, we will come back. Arnaud suggested spring or autumn. We can't wait....

I loved stay in this apartment. The view and the localization are the best. But the problem is the elevator... We had to take off ours luggage by the stairs and was very hard, because the lights were broken... And the internet was not very good...

This apartment has one of the best views in Paris from the spacious balcony. Myself and wife spent a week in June and found it comfortable and well appointed. The activity on the streets below is a little noisy, but that is no problem as, with airconditioning, it is not necessary to open the windows at night. There is a mix of good and not so good restaurants in the area from which to chose. Acccess to Metro and RER very convenient.
Paris address staff handle moves in and out efficiently.

This charming apartment has an enormous view of Notre Dame from the large balcony - it seems closer than the photos would suggest. The expansive view makes the space inside feel brighter and larger. The location couldn't be better - close to a central Metro stop, and walkable to many of the popular sites in the City. After a long day of sightseeing, it was comforting to "come home" for our evening aperitif with cheese and crackers, overlooking the Cathedral, boats on the Seine, booksellers, cafes and pedestrians at the busy intersection. The late night noisy Latin Quarter street next door didn't bother us (with the windows closed), since the apartment is high enough above it (and I sleep with ear plugs!). We figured out how to make the lift work - by jiggling and holding the key just so. Everything else worked as expected. The photos capture the apartment accurately: it is well fitted out, a tiny bit worn here and there, but over all in good shape. The dryer, unlike vented dryers in the U.S., takes many hours to finally dry the clothes. The A/C worked in both the bedroom and the living area, and was helpful on a couple of hot days and nights. Otherwise we just opened the door to the balcony and let the fresh air in. It was a delightful home away from home for a week in Paris.

An amazing stay. The view over Notre Dame is ***more than fantastic*** The Michelin guide puts three stars on sites that are worth the detour. This apartment has three stars on my heart. And the location is wonderful: do not miss the Shakespeare and Company Bookshop at half a block, and the wonderful "petits dejeuners" at Maubert, three blocks away. NOT TO BE MISSED.

I am sorry but the dates I gave for my stay should have been 18th to 25th September 2008, not October.

I stayed in PEP02 from 18th to 25th October 2008. I had no problems with the lift (elevator) but Fabien warned me never to enter it without the key in case it stopped. I always took guests down to let them out but I would do that anyway.
Fabien said the lift is going to be replaced fairly soon. With luck it will be a newer type that cannot be "hijacked" if someone fails to close the outer door on their level, as so many of the older style Paris lifts are able to do. As I said, I had no problems at all.
I loved the apartment. The view of Notre Dame from the lovely terrace is wonderful and the location is perfect. My friends and I sat there in the evenings for meals and after dinner drinks.
Fabien met me as arranged and was very helpful and showed me all the ins and outs. He gave me his email and mobile phone contacts. The first morning I found the on-stove kettle had sprung a leak and sent an email and by the time I got back from sightseeing the cleaner had left a new electric kettle for me in the hallway. That was great service.
I agree the bedroom would be noisy if you left the windows open but there is airconditioning on both levels so that should not be necessary. If you wanted to air the flat you can leave windows open during the day without any security worries.
The photos on the website are a true representation of the flat and it is attractive and comfortable. There are two things that ideally should be fixed (I told Fabien about these): (1)The awning on the balcony which does not open due to some problem and
(2) The roman style blind over the doors to the balcony had been accidentally mishandled by a previous guest and could not be lowered but I got around that by using a spare sheet held up by some existing hooks to give privacy overnight when I had a guest staying on the sofa bed.
It is a beautiful flat and I would happily live in it as would a number of my Parisian friends who visited. I happily recommend PEP02, particularly for the seasons in which you can use the terrace as an "outdoor living room".

Our stay at PEP02 was wonderful. We were shown the apt by Fabien who was very helpful, informative, and professional. We mastered the elevator after the 4th day. Loved the location and the view. Street noise below would be a problem if one wanted to sleep with the windows opened as the partying goes on till the very wee hours. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will not hesitate to use Parisaddress again. Thank you for the great experience.

We stayed at PEPO2 the first week of October. As others have said, the view is great, and the elevator is unpredictable. We have few complaints about the apartment itself. However, the person from Paris Address who was supposed to meet us with the keys was 2 hours late. Then on the day we were checking out, the cleaners came hours before we were ready to leave. For anyone visiting from another country these experiences are stressful. A little more attention and respect towards your clients in this regard would be appreciated.

My wife and I stayed in PEPO2 June 2007 and had a great time. The apartment is ideally located a stone's throw from St. michel metro stop. The terrace is exceptional and overlooks Notre Dame. The day we left we awoke to the sounds of the choir singing at an outdoor mass. The street noise from Rue de la Huchette was a little loud, but when we closed the bedroom window you couldn't hear a thing. A great apartment, we will return.

Our stay at PEPO2 was unforgetable. The only potential problem is the elevator broking sometimes, caused by opened doors left by other people, mainly on the ground floor.
We liked not only the place and the view (incredible!), but the high professionalism of parisadress staff (mr. Fréderic, taxi service and general comunication -site on internet).
Our daughter joined us in Paris, and we had to go down every time she would visit us. Is it possible to get an interphone sistem, only to know when visitors are in front of the building?

My boyfriend and I visited Paris in March and kept the PEPO2 for 9 days. It was the loveliest apartment and far more chic than many hotels we searched for! The elevator worked just fine, but we mainly used the stairs to work off the sweets and cheeses. I was very happy to find a kitchen well stocked because I planned to cook. My only complaints are here: one, the dishwasher did not clean well at all, two, many of the dishes were put away dirty, and three is one object had mold growing in it and had to be soaked & washed numerous times. But I give 4 stars and I will be recommending it to others. (The view of Notre Dame as spectacular goes without saying)

Hi
We also stayed at PEPO2, and whilst the lift was slow it worked ok -- I think the door contacts at the bottom want cleaning (we're engineers) ...... The flat and its view was fantastic a memory that will last forever... It also had everything we needed and someone must have spent a fortune when it was kitted out...In fact my wife saw a larger apartment for sale in the area for 2M Euros so it really was a bargain. But that said it is only suitable for 2. We've recommended parisaddress.com to close friends and will be using them again.....

i stayed at PEP02 and had the MOST incredible experience ever imaginable. althought the elevator was broken, the 5th floor walk up was no challenge for a native new yorker! it was the terrace and the face front view of Notre Dame that cured all aches and pains from the stairs. I have recommended Paris Address to all friends and colleagues, and even hosted a work related cocktail party on the terrace last Wednesday night that got a lot of attention from interested travelers for their next trip!

Our vacation rental with Parisaddress was wonderful. A representative was there to meet us on arrival and answered any questions we had. The apartment was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view - it was very accurately represented by the photos and information on the Parisaddress web site, if anything, it was even nicer than it looked on the photos. We can't wait for your next visit! Linda, Nice, France
