BEAUMARCH Apartment
Charming and very convenient apartment. Perfect location for all the Paris sights. Lovely light rooms and very comfortable.
Our only gripe was the washing machine which was a nightmare to start. Suggest updated step by step process be written in English & french and attached. The existing steps seem to relate to another machine!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment from 18th September - 7th October, 2011 - 3 glorious weeks!
From the start we were very impressed with Paris Address. My initial enquiry was met with a very prompt response. Booking and payment was very easy thanks to an excellent website.
We opted to arrive via the very economical Roissybus from the airport and then metro from Opera station. We were met at the apartment by Joel who was very kind and super helpful. He had already realised there was trouble with the internet connection and arranged to have this fixed as soon as possible, and over the next 2 days we were kept well informed of the progress of the repair, which was completed successfully. Joel went through all the instructions for the apartment including heating, washing machine, dishwasher etc. with us, and left his number should we need it.
The apartment is adorable! It was very clean and there was plenty of linen and towels for our long stay as well as for our adult daughter who visited for 2 weekends from London. She was very comfortable and cosy in the sofa bed. We found the apartment very spacious for our needs and there was plenty of cupboard and bench space.
We loved the Marais location. This particular area is not touristy at all so we really enjoyed it. The metro is a block away, Velib bikes on the corner (what a great way to see Paris!), a supermarket in the next block, streets full of interesting boutiques, and 2 blocks away is the wonderful market street of Rue de Montorgueil stocking such a large range of temptations! With an early morning Sunday arrival it was a relief to find this street alive and kicking until early afternoon so we could buy food supplies in a city where most shops are closed on Sundays.
We found the area to be quiet despite the range of bars and clubs in the area. As the apartment overlooks the side street we did not hear any traffic noise from Rue de Sebastopol.
We could not have been happier with this apartment and the professionalism of Paris Address, and the friendliness of the French people. When travelling we choose to stay in apartments so we can have more space and experience the local way of life, and that's just what we got. We dream of returning to this apartment. Merci Paris Address!

We rented this apartment at the very last minute (after we had arrived to Paris...) and everything went very smoothly. It is very well located, in a nice area and close to everything you need in Paris i.e. bistros, grocery and wine stores, shopping area, major attractions, etc.
We definitely enjoyed the "velib" station right outside the apartment!
The apartment itself was clean, spacious for two people and we liked that the bed was queen size (and comfortable!). We would definitely consider renting it again next time we are in Paris.

A good choice. Very well located. Close to Metro and Rue Montorgeuil shops, where you can get just about anything you need. It's worth noting that most shops are closed in Paris on Sunday afternoon.
It would have been nice to have a quilt for the children sleeping on the sofa, luckily it was warm weather. Apartment wasn't as clean a we would have expected - dust and dirt on walls.
Overall good experience, although small for 2 adults and 2 children.

Enjoyed the apartment and area.
We were there for 11 days and there was no cleaning. My expectation is at least one mid-visit apartment clean. If we took the apartment for three days and checked out it would be cleaned. I think it is a bit unfortunate that there was little appreciation for an 11 day rental.
We could not receive telephone calls. When people call it goes to message machine but we could not access a voice mail/message machine.
Here is some 'free' comments about apartment maintenance:
We cleaned the iron since someone had ironed synthetic and it was badly marked, making ironing impossible. This should be checked as part of the maintenance,
The water is going down the bathroom sink and bath slowly. It is OK now but I think it may need to be cleared soon or it will become a problem.
The kitchen window is a little difficult to close and may need maintenance attention since it will only get worse, not better.
Since Nov 2007 there have been comments about safety in the bathroom with a request for a hand rail. I would suggest that if someone slipped and hurt themselves the owner would have difficulty in denying knowledge & responsibility for this issue.

Before we even arrived, booking and paying over the internet was very easy. It was our first trip to Paris so we appreciated the airport collection. We were met by a representative in the appartment which was also good. Location was excellent and the appartment was exactly as advertised. This was the perfect way to explore the beautiful city of Paris, and we would recommend Paris Address to anyone.

We LOVED the apartment and would consider renting it again. The apartment was elegant and the location was very central; we walked everywhere. The restaurants and shops in this interesting area provided everything we needed.
2 points that could be improved:
Cost of Taxi
I agree with the comments about the taxi. It was very much more expensive than the other taxis we took for much longer journeys. Perhaps a kilometre radius scale would be better than a set fee "from any station".
Safety Considerations:
I would suggest putting another handrail beside the bath as it was difficult getting in and out of the sloping end of the bath without anything to hold on to. Also an anti-slip underlay placed under the rug in the sitting room would be another safety precaution. I nearly fell 3 times sliding on the rug!

We stayed five weeks in the apartment. When we received it, the kitchen was not clean and the closets neather. We had to complain to get it as we expected. The help came soon and all what we needed was provided. We had a great time having near the nice Rue Montorgueil with the fresh groceries, fish and great backerys. The Monoprix near by was very useful also.
What I didn't like so much was the night life on the neighbouring streets. Sometimes we had real strange scenes a screams.....
All in all this is the real Paris and fun to experience it.

We stayed in 2 different appartments both arranged for by Parisaddress.com and it was the best decission we made. They were very professional and we really enjoyed both apartments.
This one was very spacious with very easy access to subway. Good access to supermarket and shopping district is only a couple of blocks away. I would certainly recommend.

We stayed for a week. The apartmentent is nice, full equiped, great kitchen, the bathroom has very strange large tub and washer hands but is separated from the watter closed that look like a little locker room.
Thing that I think it could be better is avoid the daylight in the morning cause there have not thick courtains and there are also noise from the persons who are crossing the street overall weekends. The bed is a little small for two as I would like it and too much warm. And the entrance is not too much beautifull, but is centrally located, near metro and better than a hotel.
I would stay next time with parisadress again!!

Very good apt. Nothing to say in negative. Only wc is very little, but atmosphere is warm and you feel like at home. I would go back again.

Good Value for the Money.Comfortable and roomy. Agreed that bathroom fixtures need Total updating or replacement as well as a good clean up or replacement of grout in tub area.
Inside tub area and around walls this area could use a handle bar to enter bathtub for safety reasons to prevent falls.
. Kitchen was clean and fully equiped. Washer was not working so it was not usable until day before we left. This should have been addressed before the next person rented apartment. Better operating instructions are needed for washer, recieving telephone messages and Cable. If you own a portable wireless lap top: a signal can be picked up WIFI; someone in building may have a signal availble for a wireless.
If this was my apartment I would replace the kitchen table cloth, place a clock in apartment and sand down the butcher block counter (so bacteria does not breed) and place some lovely flowers (even nice artifical ones in each room. Lastly, I would provide a real blanket for those who sleep on the couch, instead of a zipper sleeping bag. Minor things which are important. Overall apartment served the purpose.
Positives: Good Location to major sites, metro, arrangement of transportation service by Paris Address Staff: Found out it was not more than 45 Euros to DE Gualle NOT 70 Euros-never mentioned tip is already included in price of car service. Thank goodness for the business expense account. Paying for apt with Credit card was efficiently handled by Paris Address Staff who are very professional, helpful and courteous.

Very good accommodation:everything we needed for a short stay in terms of furnishings and space. It was very central, walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. Everything was very clean and comfortable.Very kind and friendly the person wo received us and gave the key.
What we liked less: not so modern bath equipment and we missed a CD player to enjoy some musi.

Excellent accommodation and friendly service. The apartment is very nice, clean and spacious; clean sheets and towels. A kind and helpful man from the rental bureau waited for us to give the key. Very central, walking distance to many major tourist attractions. The metro and grocery store are very near. Not at all up to date some bath equipment and we missed a CD player to enjoy some music during our stay.

Excellent location. Everything we needed for a short stay in terms of furnishings and space. Only problem was the frustrating inability to use either wifi or cable tv through the France Telecom interface, despite the setup being there. More support is needed from the otherwise very supportive office staff to have the necessary connection information available for international visitors

The location is excellent, a few minutes from the Forum Les Halles and every connection to the metrò. Supermarket and groceries and a little Japanese restaurant very close to the apartment, which is comfortable and surprisingly quiet, being in the center of Paris. A wonderful solution for Paris, really good value, much much better than a hotel. And the people of parisaddress are helpful and very kind.

Beautiful apartment, charming, spacious, and very comfortable. I stayed here for 2 months and loved being within walking distance of almost anywhere in central Paris. The metro and grocery store are less than a block away, and one of the best markets in Paris is a 5 minute walk. The night I locked myself out, Xavier met me within 30 minutes of my call to save the day.

Great appartment, very parisienne, clean lots of great fluffy towels, great mattresses extremely comfortable. The location was wonderful, behind the local markets, a few doors up to a supermarket and of course close to all the tourist stuff. great to have access to the internet, very pleased with the service asked for a fan responded promptly;thanks and lastly appreciated the fact I could pay the full amount of the apartment before we came.

Excellent location and friendly service. The apartment is very nice, clean and spacious. Clean sheets and towels. Someone from the rental bureau waited for us to give our key. Only problem to mention was that the cable tv did not work properly despite the bureau trying to fix it for us.

We loved the apartment. It was very central, walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. The decor was modern and inviting, quite spacious for a Paris apartment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was very easy to get the key and the person who met us at the door was very friendly.

We absolutely loved the apartment! It is in a very convenient location - we were able to walk to the Louvre and were only minutes from all the main Metro lines. There are wonderful little shops nearby. The washer and dryer were very appreciated and the high speed Internet invaluable. We were met at the door with a smile and couldn't be more pleased with our Parisaddress experience. We've already recommended it to many friends.
