BEAUMARCH Apartment
My wife, daughter, and I stayed in Apartment Charles for five days. As other commenters have said, it is an excellent situation: convenient to the central city via Metro, RER, or even a long stroll; yet it gives one the sense of living in a quiet French neighborhood rather than a bustling tourist district. We particularly liked the convenience of the shopping street Rue Daguerre, which is on the walk to and from the Metro and allows you to shop for whatever you might need during your stay.
The apartment itself is very comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet - as advertised. We would certainly stay there again if the chance ever comes up!

My sister and I rented this apartment for 2.5 months and would rent it again and again and again.
The neighborhood was perfect for us because we wanted to feel like we were living in France and not in a tourist destination. Two metro stops are very close by so the tourist destinations were easy to access from this location.
The apartment itself was very spacious and accomodated us and our guests perfectly. Having two bathrooms (and one shared toilet) was a complete luxury. We also felt very safe because the building is only accessible through two secured doors.
The RER B line is accessible from the Denfert-Rochereau station just a few blocks away so we took the train from and to the airport for less than 10 Euro each way.
We were told that to have an enjoyable stay when "living" in Paris you need 3 things: Metro access, an elevator in your building and peace/quiet... this apartment has all of that and more.

We enjoyed the apartment CHARLES and hope to rent it again. Clean, quiet, comfortable with everything we needed inside and outside the apartment.
The location was great and has easy access to the metro. Shops, grocery, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants are close by.
Lovely neighborhood and beautiful Parisian apartment.

This is a terrific apartment in a wonderful location. It is very comfortable for two couples. The apartment is in a very old, traditional Parisian building with beautiful ceiling details, etched windows and parquet floors.
The space has been recently updated, with new kitchen and bathroom fixtures, a large refrigerator-freezer, clothes washer, dryer, excellent closets and built in cupboards -- everything one needs for a pleasant stay. In the kitchen you will find everything you need-- lots of platters, serving bowls, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, wine glasses, latte cups, et al.
American visitors should understand that, while the apartment has a new shower and a jacuzzi tub in two newly-remodeled bathrooms, there is only one toilet which is in a separate water closet in the corridor.
The table seats six for dinner and looks out on a quiet street. We love the 14th which has great markets, good restaurants, several cinemas which show films in English. It's a nice walk to Les Invalides, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens.
